Lately there’s been this whole movement about being thankful for what we have (thanks to Oprah’s Big Give) and I must say we have been so blessed that it isn’t even measurable! We are planning on giving back to kids the same age as Zamar who aren’t as fortunate as he is to be in such a blessed home that loves him more than he can imagine!
The search for a worthy cause/place in Corpus Christi ended when we met with Diana from CASA. Zamar’s Little Give will benefit CASA for abused and neglected children. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a non‐profit, volunteer based organization. They train community volunteers to speak out in court for abused and neglected children who are in the foster care system. You can help to change the lives of neglected and abused children right here in Corpus Christi, by participating in Zamar’s Little Give. We are so excited about this! We hope you will be too.
In lieu of getting a gift for Zamar, please consider bringing one of the items from the shopping list. You will even receive an in‐kind receipt for tax purposes! We will write you a receipt showing the value of the gift you donated!
